March 27 Rach's Bday+Kanye WestSaturday: Went out for Rach's birthday in the City at some Spanish resturant. The resturant was good i supose, I'm not a real big fan on fansy resturants and stuff.. But the word pizza i heard so that was all good. Food kept coming out. Like you pay $25 a head and then they just fully bring out like dish after dish... well there's bread then the salads, then potato thingys followed by sasauges and then plate of mushrooms and thennnn the Main meal of a large pizza... Quite a feast if you ask me..
After dinner had finished we then decieded to goto the Casino BONZA!!! ... NOW... not being full racist here but.. lol OK whats with the older asian ladies at the casino... So rude, throughout the night i had to battle a few of them off, Jumping in at the bar and what not. and All round just pushy lil bastardssss. Mostly the older ladies that do it.
Played some Roulette... Lost the first session.. Then walked around the Casino in search of one thing.. Yes that's right that thing being SUPERBUCKS 4!!!! Finally found it, wack some money in it & Myself & Veronica sat there tapping the machine. Got it upto $200 but pulled it out when it went down to 100. Back over to the Roulette & Veronica won $80 on that. So the evening was good. Enjoyed the night was nice. Once again HAPPY BIRTHDAY Rach.
Sunday: Woke up and chilled out with Ray & Tammy & the kids cos they came down for the weekend. Then headed off with Veronica to pick up Rach & head off to KANYE WEST concert. Got lost on the way to the concert... ( Veronica's fault ) She blames Rach & i, but we know it was hers...
Headed to the long ass line that stretched for easily 300 metres.. But the line zoomed and went quick, In no time we were in the Horden Pavillian ready for Kanye West to come out and do his thing..
After a decent wait for him to bust out, he came out all hyped up, crowed screamin & jumpin.
And i must say that it was one of the best concerts i've ever seen. Not at any stage did you stop dancing and waving your hands to the side and clapping and singing. It was amazing how much energy was in the building.
Highlights of the concert for myself would probably be of course Gold Digga, Kanye's Workout Plan and Jesus Walks was amzing so much people were jumping around and letting off the most energy. He did save the best for last with ending the show with Touch the Sky and by god it was amazing, the song started and seriously couldnt hear the music at the start as the crowd was just screaming & yelling. Was amazing bit of the night.
Kanye really does know how to put on a show. March 12 Joe+Kacey+KidsFriday: Joe, Kacey & the kids are coming to visit for the weekend. They are heading up the coast for a Wedding & we get to look after the girls while they go on up there. Saturday: Had a quiet day as the girls headed out to the park with Mum. I sat at home & just had some beers & watched the footy, Played a bit around with the girls, Doing jigsaw puzzles & drawings. |
