Saturday:  Ray, Tammy & the kids came down to come to the footy with Dad, Mum, Veronica & myself. The game was against the undefeated North Queensland Cowboys. Cowboys are red hot favourites to win the comp... The Sharks however are far from close to being favourties. So in everyones minds the Cowboys were easily setup for a victory.

Cowboys went out to a 22 points to 10 lead & the game looked all but over. But a little Shark magic & you can do anything you wish. So thats what they did, Hung in there & ended up winning a thrilling game 24 points to 22. First team in the NRL to beat the Cowboys. Oh How Sweet It Is!

 

Sunday:  Veronica came 3rd in the Cronulla Girls Boardrider competition. Well done sweetie, I'm proud of you  :)

 

Tuesday:  ANZAC Day. Headed on down to the Leagues Club. Went upstairs they had 2up & watch them toss the coins up and down a fair bit. But headed on down to the TAB section. Had a bet & played the pokies, Drank some beer as you do.

Thursday:  Headed off to Fox Studios for the evening. Once again!!! We got lost on the way to Fox Studios... It's becoming a habit now i tell you that. I wont mention who got us lost but yeah. Lets just say we got lost.

It was a rainy crappy day & we had time to kill so decieded to go Ten Pin Bowling. The first bowl i did i went out hard and realised that my knee isnt upto scratch as it jinked a bit out of place. From there on i was bowling cautious. First game i didn't even crack the 100 mark. SO pathetic.. lol. I blame the knee tho.  2nd game got a few strikes here & there and ended with a score of like 140 something. Was ok for a crippled

 

Night time came & it was time for the James Blunt concert. The conert was great. Wasnt the all time best ever.. But it was good. He performed all the songs terrific. His style of singing is unique & was on the money with every note. Very ice.

 

Sunday:  Sharks game was on fox & playing the Wests Tigers. Lets just say. PENALTY after PENALTY. Tigers just held their composure and ran away with the game. When the Tigers are on fire they are on. Stoopid Sharks!!!

Monday:  The return of SONNY BILL WILLIAMS.. lol.

Saturday:  Shaun, Karen, Karly, Marlin & Jake came over to visit. Shaun arrived at about 10am or something with a beer in hand as predicted.. lol. was good to see everyone as it's been a while since last seen them.

Headed on down to the Park to have a few beers with Shaun. Top day with the sun shining down & was nice.

 

Later that evening headed down to the Leagues Club for more beers & have a little play on the pokies... as u do... Didn't score anything on the pokies so that sucked ass....

 

Left there & headed on into Shark Park to watch the Sharkies take on the Rooters. Was a cold evening & only will get colder as winter comes along.

 

Sharks first half performance was non excisting with the Rooters running in 3 tries. Roosters were hot to trot at that stage & half-time couldnt of come quicker. As the crowd were getting annoyed and angry at the referee in the first half it started getting heated in the stands with a few curse words i won't repeat.

 

Second half Sharks came out with a bang running up 3 quick trys in a matter of 10 minutes to equal the score up. But from that point a stupid mistake from Latu, Then followed by a 40/20 kick from the Rooters seen the Sharks down again. Roosters got out to a 28 points to 18 lead after Sharks did well catching up. THEN Sharks scored a try with 5 minutes to go to set up a grand stand finish. With only minutes to go Dykes had a chance to score, but fell short.. And moments after that a pass to Thompson fell a stray & hopes dided again for a late win. It ended up being a Thriller match with the last second of the match a kick to the in goal followed by an almost chance again for the Sharks.

 

Good game. Went home a winner, Even though they lost. Felt like they won. Was a great game by both teams

Last week i was struck down with a flu then followed by a stomach virus which had me throwing up. Very shocking and to this day i still carrying a bit of the flu.

 

Saturday:  Sharks play tonite at Toyota Park and with the flu and virus i battled it out & headed down to the Leagues Club. Decieded to play the Superbucks & what a stipid idea that was. Failing to win anything on the machine. It was so cold outside, I don't know if it was from the flu  or what but it was windy & cold.. Great footy weather.  In the crowd near us was these bunch of good ol Aussie blokes, Drinking and chanting away and then see this big banner they put up in the air... The banner was tasteless as it read "RUN RIOT CRONULLA" only took the police about 5 minutes before they turned up & took the banner of them, as the crowd all boo'ed the officers when they did so... Well done Cronulla really cool....... not.
Sharks ended up winning the game 24 points to 22, Was a tight battle. Only reason Souths were still in the contest was the lack of ball control from the Sharks, bombing at least 8 trys.

 

Sunday:  Veronica came over & we made lunch together and just sat around and did nothing all day. Went out to get dinner and ended up making Enchaladas.. I dont think that's how u spell it but yeah... They were interesting to make as the thingys you put them in are small as and fall apart easy... Has anyone ever mastered these, If you know what i'm talking bout with the wrap folder over thing?
