Mundine vs Green. The most waited fight in Australian history took place tonight & i watched the fight & i just have to say that Mundine really did show his true talent in the ring. A great performance by choc indeed. At times made Green look like an amatuer. Green was amazing with his ability to handle all the hits from Mundine but for my mind threw way too many punches that didn't connect. With boxing the more you miss the more you get tired. And that sure showed in tonights battle.

Mundine who's speed was amazing against Green's power. Green cornered Mundine so many times in the match but just couldnt land that one killer blow. Mundine has to be credited for his defence he used in the match.

 

Bad credit goes to the logos of Crazy John in the middle of the arena which provided a slipery surface for the figthers. Stooopid.

 

Another classic moment was to watch JOHN Hopoate fight his debut professinal boxing match. LOL he fought some dude that had only 1 win from 5 fights & just looked like he didnt know what to do in there. Hopoate really didnt impress me at all with any style or skill in the ring.

 

However we know Hopoate is well know for being inside of many rings, Just doest seem to show any skill in this one. Nice try finger....  After the match he called out Mark Geyer to get in the ring with him. .. lol u idiot Hoppa.. give it up, You have a better chance at becoming an NRL referee then going up against him.

Tuesday:  Started work at Players Biscuits in Taren Point. was good to get the job as i used to work for Arnott's Biscuits & seeing as Players is owned by Arnott's that was an advantage i'd say. First day stated off funny as i wore the white shirt that was given to us in-side out. So yeah that was kinda funny for everyone to giggle at...

Started on the packaging line of Wagon Wheels and the speed of the making boxes & putting the wagon wheels in and then sending it throught the tape machine was kinda going fast. So had to quickly learn & master it.... And as predicted i mastered it quite easily :)

 

Sunday:  Local Derby!! Sharks v Dragons at Shark Park. What a beautiful day it was too. Sun shining & all that fun stuff. Local matches against other clubs are big rivals but there's always something special when it comes to the Sutherland Shire and the St George area. Huge rivals.

Headed on down to the Leagues Club at around 11am & decieded to play a little Superbucks before the game. So went to the Superbucks area to find the machine wasnt there & all the machines were moved.... So after i stopped panicing. We searched for it & found it.

Orded beers & began to play... Machine was running very well to start off with... Got the $300 drop so that was bonza.. Then followed by a feature & little pays off that... To sum it all up we ended up getting 4 superbucks drops and once on the feature.. For those that are not aware of the Superbuck poker machine, 3 superbucks is worth $100 if you get it on the same line.. We play it with $3 per line. So it's a $300 win. However we got that on the feature which the feature is 20 free games & every win is times by 3 so that was $900 drop!!! So that was mega cool.....

Ended up taking the winnings upto $2,000 & then pulled out.

 

Cheyne & Brad came along as well. Good to have a beer with those fellows. Always fun.

 

Sharks ended up winning the Local Derby 30 - 12 Well done Sharks. Thats 3 weeks in a row the Sharks have held their opponents score-less in the second half.
