Friday - After long long hours of work, 60+ hours to be exact. I was buggered. Tired, run down & sore. But i was excited because i was heading back down to Sydney for the weekend.

 

Saturday - 9th December, One Year ago i met Veronica on this day so it was extra special. I orginised a Sydney Harbour Cruise. After only just making it to the train station with just seconds to spare, We were battling to get to the dock on time for the Cruise. I didnt care if we made it or not, as long as i was with Veronica, anywhere would of been special. However we did make the cruise & it was a seafood buffet on board. The cruise was so nice, the weather was a bit dull but the company i had was the best. So we floated around Darling Harbour, under the Bridge, along the shoreline of the Opera House.

Off the boat we headed to the Shops. So we went around to buy Veronica a dress. As she tried on a few dresses. She looked amazing in 2 of them, So was too hard to choose which one was the best, So i got her both.

The night edned with Christmas Carols at Shark Park. Was nice to grab a blanket & lay down & watch the Carols. Home & Away stars were presenting & that Ricky Musket dude from Idol was trhere singing some songs.

 

Sunday - Just headed down to South Cronulla at Shelly Beach. Was good to go there as that was where we used to always sit & snuggle in the sun. So it was great. By midday i was feeling it, so tired & sore.

Night time came & took my parents out to dinner in Sutherland. Food was ok, Night was good. Always lovely to go out with the Parents.

 

Monday - Back on the plane to head on back to Brisbane for work.

 

Just 10 days to go & i'm back in NSW for good. Cant wait!

Ahh man. Still up in Brisbane working my backside off. *sigh* Its come to the point where im actually counting each day down to the day i arrive back home. Been doing like 15 hour days everyday of the god damn week!

 

Last night headed to the weekly event of Karoake. SO the beers flew & the voices flew... right out the door... the 6 tenors! Didnt stay there long, left with Po & headed home. Not before going to 7/11 for some food.. mmmm

 

Today is friday, normally friday is a day where you look forward to the weekend, But there isnt really anything to look forward to :( awww

 

Thursday - My flight from Brisbane to Sydney was cancelled right. It was a 7pm flight & i got there an hour early as they request. Scanned my ticket & BOOM Flight Cancelled. Next available flight was 9pm. So yeah, alright, 3 hours. No worries mate....

The register chick told me that it was cancelled, so i asked why & they just said plance troubles. All cool. THen she goes "its ok sir, we have voucher for the delayed flight" compensation & what not. So she directed me to this line that was rather large to recieve my free voucher... Now im in the line & thinking, oh this is ok then, maybe a free flight? maybe a refund... hmmm what could it be. Shuffled along the line & got to the front counter & the lady grabbed my details & writes me out a voucher.... I grab the voucher & OMG WOW!!!!! the voucher was for $6 to spend anywhere in airport... My lord i was stoked to recieve such honours....

Only place to go really for 3 hours is... yes you guessed it... The Bar.

 

Friday - Went upto the Pub. Grand re-opening of Gymea Pub. So headed up there with Veronica & Dad at 10am & had a crownie.  Its an ok Pub, new & stuff. So thats good i supose...

 

Saturday - Hung out with Veronica for the day, Went upto Westfield Miranda & had my first ever Sushi!!! yes SUSHI!!.. It's an ok meal but not my cuppa-tea.

In the arvo, Jeremy, Chris & Igor came over for some beers & poker & a little dart throwing. Didnt play for real cash, thank god, would of been down a fiar bit.

Later in the night Leea & Matt came around so we all headed out to Northies for some drinks. From there went to Carmens, had more drinks, danced a little.

 

Sunday - Just sitting here about to head over to Veronica's house to watch some dvds. Hang out before my flight back to Brisbane... *sigh*

Friday:  Headed on over to Tarsh's house to have some drink & then head into the city to have some more drinks at the Pig n Whistle place with Linds, Drew, James, Rach & randommly ran into Loki. Full spin out. Te pub was ok, bit quiet, maybe because Indy was on down the Coast. But yeah, all i knew that there was beers to be drank, so thats what happened.

Dont know how we ended up at this place called VINO i think thats what its called. But it was some classy joint, riverside veiw. Nice place, no music tho. Would of been good if it was a romantic evening.

walked to the Valley.. Hate walking, so it seemed like a hike to me. But got there & went into some place, had a beer & headed out. By the night fall was really hungry & so glad that mcdonalds has the triple cheeseburger option.

 

Saturday:  Aussies pull out a miracle win against the Kiwis in Melbourne. Shame the Kiwis played alot better & deserved the win. Al night during the game i kept saying "give the ball to Iglis" oh they never do, but when they did BOOM he's talent really did show. So fast, so good.

 

Time up in Brisbane is going ok, wish time would roll alot faster. I miss everything down home & most of all miss Veronica way too much, So hard to have a life not knowing she is by my side. Going down there this week, really looking forward to seeing her & my mum & dad.

Well i'm back in Brisbane for work. So up in QLD for 3 months working. 3 months doesnt seem that long, But it is when i have a beautiful sweetheart of a girl back home who i miss oh so much. It's going to be hard, but i know i'll get through it.

 

It's great catching up with everyone up here. Always fun times & good laughs. Not much has changed for people wise, still the same since i left. Nothing changes there.

 

Staying at Angela & Darryl's place & its great here, Such lovely people to welcome me & open up their home.

 

The weather se is humid alot more then NSW, supose i will have to get used to the heat again.

 

It's quite funny when i think about it, Last few times i've came back to Bris to stay, It's always after footy season... lol. So once agin back up here.

 

Be good to catch up with more of the QLDs that i knew before i left, So that will be good.

 

Flying back to Sydney on friday for the weekend, Cant wait for that, Counting the minutes that go by for when that happens.
